Detecting Keypress by Multiple Different Keyboards
« on: June 29, 2011, 08:55:12 PM »
Hello,

I need to have multiple keyboard devices connected to the same computer and be able to tell which keyboard in addition to which keypress was pressed.

For instance, I need a way to differentiate between an "a" pressed on keyboard ONE and an "a" pressed on keyboard 2.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks much for your help.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I don't think it is (easily) possible.   Just like if you plug in 2 mice you still only have one cursor.   I've seen some retail solutions that effectivly turn a 1 pc into 2 so you have two keyboards and mice but it always required a hardware add-on as far as I could tell.
