News: Linux Basic forums have just been installed. This, I hope, will be the place to talk about the new breed of Basics coming out for the Linux operating system. A place to get informed as well as help each other out with programming and installation issues. Be warned, I am as green as you are. I am here to learn as well.

I've gotten notifications (through RSS) of six spams posted in the last 12 hours, each from a different new user if I'm not mistaken.  Has the forum software been compromised or is this just a matter of needing a CAPTCHA in the signup process?

I am trying to combat them. I have just upgraded the forum. Will look into the sign-up process and see what I can do there.
